The signature wine for our Geologist Bordeaux blend has always been Cabernet Sauvignon from the Upland Vineyard planted in 1989. The ancient Columbia River conglomerate deposits underlie this vineyard, imparting a unique aroma and flavor profile to the wine. Our 2020 Conglomerate Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% from this block. Harvested in early October at 24 Brix, grapes were fermented in a small open top fermenter for 10 days before pressing. The wine was aged in French oak for 27 months before bottling.  
 
Only 100 cases produced. Alcohol 14.5% and released April 2023.
