Excited to announce that we explore the wines of Gil Family Estates, a family-owned Spanish wine group with roots dating back to 1916.

The Gil family’s story begins in Jumilla, where they founded Bodegas Juan Gil and built their legacy around old-vine Monastrell, thriving in some of Spain’s most rugged vineyard conditions. Over four generations, the family has stayed true to a simple philosophy: respect the land, honor tradition, and allow each wine to express its place of origin.

Today, Gil Family Estates spans several of Spain’s most distinctive wine regions, including Jumilla, Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Toro, Calatayud, Priorat, Rías Baixas, and Almansa. Each winery is managed with the same hands-on approach, focusing on native grape varieties, sustainable farming, and minimal intervention in the cellar.
